As frontman of the boyband The Vamps, Bradley Simpson is no stranger to releasing music and performing live. In March 2024, Simpson began his journey as a solo artist with his debut single Cry at the Moon, followed by 5 more singles over the course of the next 10 months. His debut album The Panic Years was released in February 2025 and made the top 10 on the UK album charts. More recently, he released the single Suzy, starting his new era of music following his first album.
The Panic Years is easily one of my top 5 albums of all time. I think every single song is strong in its lyrics, melody and production and I like the storytelling within not only each song, but the album as a whole. The album perfectly tells the story of finding yourself in your twenties, which is something I strongly relate to. There are songs about love, loss and self discovery and I think the album truly has something for everyone. I am really excited for Simpson’s new era of music – the sound of his latest single Suzy is different from what he’s done on The Panic Years and I can’t wait to hear more of this new era.
I have been fortunate enough to see Bradley Simpson live on a number of occasions, both as part of The Vamps and as a solo artist. The photos in this article were taken by me on both his 2024 UK and Europe Tour as well as The Panic Years Tour in 2025. These shows were really fun to photograph and are probably my favourite concert shots, even over a year on. I have attended many concerts over the past 8 years, but Brad’s shows have always stuck with me. The energy he brings to the stage is unmatched, and his shows are always incredibly fun to attend.
With his new era of music just beginning, I encourage everyone to check out Bradley Simpson. Despite not being new to the music industry, his music is more mature and unique, and you can tell how much he has grown as an artist. Currently opening for Charlie Puth on tour, he has been teasing even more new music, so now is a perfect time to start listening if you haven’t already.
